The iSmart Massager

Electronic Deep Tissue Massage

The iSmart Massager is a personal, deep-tissue, HANDS FREE MASSAGER that provides you with a variety of applications comparable to units being sold CURRENTLY for $299. Due to its small size (about as big as a PC Mouse), and use of one common 9volt battery, the iSmart is an extremely portable electronic back massager and is designed especially for travel. Enjoy a soothing deep tissue massage on an hour flight on business, in a hotel room, in the comfort of your home, or simply bring it to work for muscle toning and improved circulation while you are at your desk. (it provides 3 seperate deep tissue massage modes!) You also can enjoy the deep penetrating effects of an intense deep tissue massage to aide in back pain relief, or muscle soreness, with similar technolgy that physical trainers, physical therapists and chiropractors have been using for years! The iSmart Massager uses Electronic Muscle Stimulation to cause the muscles to constrict then relax, thereby releasing pressure that may have built up in the targeted areas of the back, neck, shoulders arms, abs or legs.

Our Review of the iSmart Massager

Let's get one thing out of the way..we do have a vested interest in promoting the iSmart Massager, but here is my guarantee that our review will be the same as yours when you try it: 110% Money Back Guarantee! Thats right, if you don't agree with this review, then we will refund you 110% - less shipping of course - of what you paid. And hey, if you just need the $10 bucks then go ahead and I GUARANTEE you won't send it back. Guys and Gals, it really does feel THAT good.

On that note, I'll begin our review:

The packaging was pretty impressive. (definite first impression that this massage instrument is pricey, and it reminded me of something you would get from a store like The Sharper Image) The instructions were simple and the 9 Volt battery came with the unit. Also included was the iSmart Massager head unit, 2 sets of small and large "gel pads", a small white cord and 'massage ears' that act as a document holder. The document holder itself was kind of cool and I found myself trying to see how many documents I could fit in there and have it set on my desk. I lost count at 24.

After going through the precautions in the instructions and making sure I wasn't wearing a pacemaker, pregnant, suffering from any skin diseases or very recent trauma, I peeled the plastic protective film from the electronic massager pads and played with the gel for a second. The gel was STICKY and adhered to the back of my shoulders quite well.

I braced myself and turned the dial on the massager until I felt a light tapping. It was the strangest sensation to feel for the first time with no warning. Now by strangest, I mean that you really are trying to figure out how those gel pads are starting to tap and then roll into a deeper tissue massage - it feels pretty good at this point but I am still wary because I'm realizing that the frequency of electronic impulses is what is actually causing that "deep tissue rolling effect" so I just want to be safe. This first massage mode I considered to be a combination of the following two and designed for rejuvenation and to help improve circulation. The third is passive excercises and causes the muscles to constrict then relax - thus the tapping sensation. It is intended for muscle toning and fat loss. Right now, we're on the second mode - the deep tissue massage mode.

I press the button and Oh Boy here it comes...

Now I just told you about that rolling effect and, well, it REALLY does "roll" through your shoulders (or where ever you may place the pads - just not over the heart and on the face). This massage mode folks was the hook line and sinker for me. I grabbed that massager unit, turned the dial up a half a turn more without a concern or hesitation ( the iSmart has 5 increasing levels of intensity and I was now on 2) and set it next to my keyboard flat on my desk. I put my feet up and layed back in my chair...

I really wonder how many of you are going to do this:

I woke up about an hour and a half later and almost freaked out. One, because I was supposed to finish this review and cook a surprise dinner before my fiance' came over, and two because I never forgot that this was an electronic massager and hope I didn't just have this on for almost 2 hours since I fell asleep so fast. The awesome feature that I had seemed to miss the first time I read through the instructions is an automatic shut off after 15 minutes. SMART! I put the iSmart to the side (instead of away) and answered the door.

Instead of a surprise dinner, my fiance' got a new gift - the iSmart Massager.

-Joe
